Part of the "mother lode" find of 1985, this rare silver, Spanish 8 Reale from the colonial period, was found by Mel Fisher and Treasure Salvors, Inc. on the Nuestra Senor De Atocha shipwreck.
From one of the original investors, this coin is accompanied by several letters signed by Mel Fisher, an original '86 "Motherload" division printout and copies of photos of C. Marjorie Taylor, the coins original owner. The earliest document is dated January 26, 1971.
